STUDIOS: S39
Studio S39 in 2004, coming to the end of its
life - an untidy mess. It was on the 3rd floor South East Wing
- unusually it had windows so you could choose between
ventilation and silence. At left is a rack, with two Revox CD
players and a cassette recorder, a tone control box and a
digital playout screen for the 'd'accord' system in use by the
Russians prior to RadioMan. Digital 'Carts' and assorted
keyboards on top of the desk, and at right another monitor,
two computers, and somebody's elbow.
