The sample basic feed below shows where this tag appears (you may
need
to scroll down to see it). It carried
the 'podcast image' which appears on the podcast's page. It must be
square, minimum 1400 x 1400 px, maximum 3000 x 3000 px, and less
than 500kB. The image must be in either JPG or PNG format. When you
first post a feed including an image it will probably take several
days
before the image appears, so don't panic if it doesn't
appear at first. The small image which appears in the Search results
is
drawn from the same tag, and can take even longer to appear.
If you want to change your image you should give the file a new name
and amend the feed accordingly, otherwise the system may not realize
that the image has changed. Again, it will take several days to pick
up
the change.
The image referenced in the feed does not appear when you subscribe:
for that the image has to be embedded in the actual media file for
each
episode - please see here.
