Swimming pool

The swimming pool, with the old Gym behind, on the right of the picture. The raised seating in front of the old Gym on the right of the picture was known as 'The Altar' and was for Sixth-Formers only. Members of the Combined Cadet Force (out of uniform) can be seen at the bottom of the picture messing about with walkie-talkies.

The buildings in the background are, from the left, the main building with The Limes in front: the chapel: the old Gym with the Tuck Shop (the flat white roof) and the old Science Block behind: the Prep School (for under 11s): the new Gym, and the main Sports Pavilion.
