WORLD SERVICE IN ENGLISH

Continuity

The replacement World Service in English ('Green network') continuity desk, on the Studio Manager's side, c.1991. Built by Calrec, using similar technology to the current studio desks, it has 16 channels: three inputs for studios or landlines, one for Big Ben, three microphone channels, three tape machines, three for CDs and three for cart machines (for signature tunes or stings).
