EDAM CARILLON TOWER (1958)

12 of 24; click anywhere in the photo to go to the next one

The second of a group of four photographs my father took in Edam on 11 August 1958 from much the same position, on a wide bridge crossing the canal alongside which runs Voorhaven. The camera is looking West-South-West: in the distance is the Carillon Tower, all that remains of the Church Of Our Dear Lady, demolished in  1882.

Download a Google Earth placemark of the camera position.
