Where is this? (4)





Of course this could be almost anywhere in England. My grandfather took this photo, possibly around 1920, on a quarter-plate glass negative which has survived remarkably well. If anyone happens to recognize it please let me know.

UPDATE - I've now been able to identify this: it's in the village of Temple Ewell, near Dover. A photo taken from further back, showing the Donkey Pub (now demolished) can be seen in this page (second photo down): http://www.dover-kent.com/Donkey-Temple-Ewell.html
