Silly Remarks (1)


A friend of mine was a bit given to pontificating on things he knew nothing about - mind you we were about 12 at the time, so it's entirely forgivable and I don't suppose I was much better.

However I do treasure one of his remarks. We were watching a clip of Gene Kelly on television: Kelly was tap-dancing on roller-skates with consumate skill.

"Of course", my friend said authoratively, "it's not him"
