Political Asylum




The Goons described the Houses of Parliament as 'The finest political asylum in the world'. I took this photo on 29th July 1963 from the observation gallery at the top of the Shell Building on the South Bank, which was at that time open to the public, using my Zeiss Super Ikonta camera which I have written about previously.
