Silly Remarks (4)riginally
all the BBC World Service studios were mono, as we broadcast mostly on
short-wave and the requirement didn't arise. Now many of them are

colleague was in a mono studio when a yuppie-type producer arrived and said,
'Look, I know this is a mono studio, but could we record this in stereo
anyway...'.
