78rpm label design

The design of 78rpm record labels was often an art in itself - remember there were no decorated sleeves like LPs; records usually came in brown paper sleeves with a few simple advertisements on them. This is the first in an occasional series of interesting record labels.

I bought this one purely for the label: I don't know the date but I would guess around 1912. I haven't bothered to post the sound of the record itself, because believe me it's not worth listening to - just a sentimental parlour song.
