QEH

The industrial architecture of the Queen Elizabeth Hall (and the smaller Purcell Room which is part of the same building) isn't much liked, but the hall is comfortable and has an acoustic which is pleasantly warm if less detailed than the Royal Festival Hall. Normally the QEH is used for smaller orchestras or chamber music concerts, but while the RFH is closed for a major makeover the QEH is home to several of the leading orchestras.
